Welcome to
Jordan's Corral...

| Hi, I'm Jordan, vice president
of the Pickens County 4-H Horse Club. I was a member of the senior judging
team at the state show and was thrilled to receive, along with my team
mates, 1st place blue ribbons! I am a senior in High School and working very
diligently to maintain my 4.0 GPA which will afford me many
opportunities in the future. Can you believe I am graduating in June of '08?
I love my horse and training, dancing (ballroom, ballet point, lyrical and just for fun), getting together with the "A" gang (A.K.A. my friends), spending time with my cats Mitzi, Obie and Halao Roo, my dog Zeke, and my family. I enjoy watching anything about ancient Egypt, lost civilizations and animals. I really like reading! Mostly I like to read fantasy, Elves, dragons, etc., and series books of all sorts. As for food, I like Italian! (Olive Garden-yum) I gave up ding dongs- I was addicted! But I will never abandon beef jerky! After graduation I am embarking on a future in Equine Veterinary Medicine. I will start college next fall, but plan to continue with 4-H as long as Miss Holly will let me hang around! I am currently attending high school, technical college and training my horse, Nef, through natural horsemanship (the only way to train!) and plan to continue learning and training with these methods throughout my life with the many horses I plan to have around me. I accredit the majority of what I have learned about horses in general and the Arabian breed to my mentor and idol, Miss Faith. My instructors at a local technical college in which I am taking courses on weekends to complete my equine management certification before I graduate high school, mostly Dr. Stafford DVM, have contributed also to my thirst for horse knowledge. My 4-H leader, Miss Holly has been very instrumental in teaching me about breeds, judging and lately, presentation of my research. I can't thank her enough for being our fearless leader!

I'd like for you to meet
Nefretiza
|
Nef is a Reg. Arabian mare. She is 9 years old and bay in color. She has it all: looks, intelligence, and my heart. She is currently learning through the natural horsemanship program. I have plans to show her in Hunter/ Hack and Halter in the near future We also hope to fit in a few endurance rides before my college career starts in the fall of '08 and then every chance I get from then on.
